I was just at Party City on Monday to purchase some balloons for my daughter's birthday. Leon was at the register and was immensely helpful. He was pleasant and when I asked if there were any store coupons he directed me to sign up for text alerts which I did. He then took his time to put together the balloon bouquet paying close attention to detail. I was so impressed. Nowadays customer service seems to be gone, but Leon was awesome. :-)
I will be using this store for future party purchases.
I went and picked up 7 helium-filled balloons (6 latex and one mylar) at about 11am for my daughter's 1st birthday party. By 8pm that night when I tried to get everything decorated for the next day, and 5 of the 6 latex balloons were on the floor with the 6th barely hanging on. Waste of money. Only giving two stars because of the great service at checkout and the wide range of inventory available in the store.
Spent over $60 on balloons & less than 24 hours later 80% are already dropping! I vaguely remember years ago being asked if I wanted a special solution to make them last longer (upsale in my opinion) but nobody asked me this time! Dollar store balloons last longer! Won’t be buying from here again 😞 …
Horrible service. Asked for balloons ready at 10, when they open, we got there on time, waited in the long line, and then the guy told us it’s gonna be another 30 minutes until they’re done. It was already 10:20. We asked for only ten normal balloons. Then, I asked for a refund and he just stared at me. He literally just stared at us until my sister and I left. Didn’t say anything else that we could’ve done, like take the balloons or have them delivered. Waste of our time. Call us in advance if you’re that late.

I was Balloon Shamed for wanting just one balloon. Even better a one hour wait to get it filled. I go back an hour later. Wait in line. Give them my receipt. The responce...oh yeah it over there. No offer to get it for me. The ribbon was knotted and tied short. Just plain old poor customer service. Guess it's acceptable to be mediocre at Party City
I went in 20 minutes before close so they would only fill 15 balloons which I understood but staff could.jave been friendlier. The only smile was as we exited the building.
Love coming here for party supplies, Halloween decorations, literally everything.
